In Madagascar, according to the latest census, vanilla is grown on about 64,000 ha. This area is spread over 10 regions of the Big Island.
More than 80,000 farmers, 6,000 processors and 33 exporters are the main players in the industry.
With 80% exports of vanilla from Madagascar, the SAVA region is the main producing area in Madagascar Vanilla.
We select our vanilla growers from SAVA, last harvest, fleshy and humidity complies with freshness.
We classified our vanilla in 3 categories:
- Premium whose length is greater than 18 cm, with average weight 6 g
- Gourmet, longer than between 16 and 18 cm, with average weight 4 g
- Short, longer than between 14 and 16 cm, with average weight to 3 g
